PCT (Pressure Cooker Test)

The PCT accelerates the aging process of the solar materials, such as encapsulant films, glass, and backsheets, by exposing them to elevated temperature, high humidity, and pressure in a controlled environment. The test chamber is designed to replicate extreme environmental conditions that the materials will encounter over their operational lifespan.

Laminator

The single-stage laminator operates based on a thermocompression bonding process, where heat and pressure are applied simultaneously to cure the encapsulant material and bond the layers together.

Temperature Humidity Chamber

The chambers are designed to test the durability, performance, and reliability of solar films and encapsulants under various temperature and humidity conditions. The chamber simulates real-world conditions like sunlight, heat, moisture, and thermal cycling that can degrade solar films over time.

UV Aging Test Chamber

The chamber accelerates the aging process, simulating years of exposure to UV radiation, temperature fluctuations, and moisture in a short period. This helps manufacturers predict how their products will perform when exposed to real-world environmental conditions.

UV Spectrophotometer

The UV-Spectrophotometer operates on the principle of absorbance spectroscopy. It measures the intensity of light absorbed by a material (such as EVA,EPE,POE) at different wavelengths of light across the ultraviolet (UV) and visible spectra.

Volume Resistivity Meter

Volume resistivity meter is a material property that quantifies the electrical resistance to current flow through the entire volume of a material. It is a measure of how much the material resists the flow of electrical current and is defined by the equation.

DSC

DSC is used to evaluate the thermal behavior of solar Encapsulant materials during their processing, production and use. The instrument provides critical insights into the polymer's properties, such as crystallization, melting temperature and heat capacity. These properties directly influence the performance of solar encapsulant films in different applications.
